JOIN US AT THE WELCOME GRANFESTA
Athlete Sign-In. Just like the pros do it. Sign in to make it official.
Package Pickup. Get your event package (bike plate, wrist band and sponsor swag). Bring Photo ID!
Participant ID. Your bike number and wrist band will admit you to the Rest Stops and Celebration Plaza.
Sponsor Expo. See what our sponsors have in store for you.
Parks Canada Seminar. Join in these sessions to learn about Banff National Park and how to respect the wildlife.
GranFondo Store. Look sharp in your RBC GranFondo Banff Founding Rider Jersey.
Welcome Festival. Meet and greet your fellow riders, swap strategies and drink up the excitement of the weekend.
All GranFondo riders will need to pick up their event package before the event at the Welcome GranFesta, the official event Expo. Photo ID will be required for pick up and you will be asked to sign the event waiver in person. No package pickup for GranFondo riders on event day.
PROCRASTINATORS’ PACKAGE PICKUP
All GranFondo riders will need to pick up their event package before the event. For last minute procrastinators, we are offering Package Pickup on event day. Photo ID will be required for pick up and you will be asked to sign the event waiver in person. Please allow 15 to 30 minutes to wait in line, pick up your package, assemble your event ID and check your bag before getting into the start corral.
Yoga for Cycling
Join us for some yoga inspired stretching specifically for cyclists. Everyone is welcome! Look for us on the grass at Central Park.
FamilyFundo Kids Ride
The FamilyFundo Kids Ride is FREE at the RBC GranFondo Banff. The event is open to all children 12 years of age and younger. We will provide a fun bike course, and all children will have the chance to learn about bike safety and some tips on maintenance so you can keep your bike in good condition! Please bring your bike and your helmet (very important) and meet us by the red inflatable in Banff's Central Park. Everyone who participates will receive an event souvenir!
START CORRALS OPEN
All riders are asked to be in the corrals by 6:45am. Bike plates, bibs and wristbands must be properly affixed prior to entering the Start Corrals.
Bag Check Opens
Complimentary bag check opens at 5:30am at the Event Start (limited to one bag per person, excluding bike boxes). Maximum size is 21.5 in. x 9 in. x 15.5 in. (standard airplane carry-on size). Bag check tags are pre-printed with your rider number as a tear-away on your bib. Have this tag clearly visible and in position before you hand in your bag at the Station. Put all items into one bag - no loose items will be accepted! Items can be collected when you finish. Bag Check closes at 6:30am and will reopen at 10:00am when the first riders are expected in.
FINISH & CELEBRATION PLAZA
With the beginning of the ride starting at 7:00am we anticipate the elite riders to make their way across the finish line around 10:00am. We will organize festivities throughout the day as the rest of the participants arrive. The Finish & Celebration Plaza will include:
